Reassign Actions Troubleshooting Guide
OVERVIEW
The following guide lists some of the common Reassign Actions issues you may experience along with the possible cause and resolution.
ERROR EMAIL RECEIVED WHEN COMPLETING ACTIONS
DESCRIPTION
When a user completes the reassign actions process admins receive an error notification.
CAUSE
This occurs due to users prematurely exiting the Reassign Actions Add-in before all tasks are completed. A common mistake is that users will press the 'X' at the top right-hand side of the add-in instead of clicking the 'Complete' button.
RESOLUTION
Users will need to be advised to properly complete the process so that Reassign Actions can complete its task correctly.
TWO REASSIGN ACTION BUTTONS ARE AVAILABLE
DESCRIPTION
Two separate instances of Reassign Actions are available within Content Manager.
CAUSE
Content Manager has its own reassign actions function with the same name as the FYB Reassign Actions add-in.
RESOLUTION
You can remove the Content Manager instance of Reassign Actions to avoid confusion. Any changes that are made this way will need to be set as a Global Setting to ensure they are spread to all users. You can find more information about Global Settings and how to manage them within your system on the following Knowledge Base Articles:
Unable to Find Config.Exe
DESCRIPTION
