# Service2CM Release Notes 4.0.x

## OVERVIEW

This release of the FYB Service2CM includes all fixes and enhancements that were shipped in the previous releases of the product. For details of the previous release, please refer to the relevant release notes.

## RELEASE 4.0.2

### SECURITY

#### .NET 10 UPGRADE

This application has been upgraded to .NET 10, providing improved performance, security, and reliability while keeping the application aligned with the latest Microsoft technology standards.

**Action required:** Administrators must ensure .NET 10 is installed on the application server as part of this upgrade.

### BUG FIXES

#### REACTIVATE POLLING AFTER SERVER RESTARTS

Connector has been updated to automatically reactivate itself after any failures or restarts of the server without requiring manual intervention to initiate polling.

#### ALLOW FOR HANDLING SERVICENOW REFERENCE FIELDS

Connector has been updated to gracefully handle ServiceNow reference fields to for polling and mapping of metadata.

### ENHANCEMENTS

#### BATCH PROCESSING FOR LARGE POLL SESSIONS

Batch processing has been added to the transfer process of Service2CM to improve stability for large poll session exceeding over 10,000 records per transfer session.

#### DISABLE WORK NOTES SENT TO SERVICE NOW

Added the ability to disable work notes and comments created by Service2CM from being sent to ServiceNow.

#### CONNECTION STATUS

Added a connection status indicator to the user interface, providing visibility into whether authentication with ServiceNow has been successful.

#### MANUAL POLLING

Added a Poll Now button, allowing administrators to manually initiate a poll outside of the configured polling schedule.

#### VERBOSE LOGGING

Added the ability to enable verbose logging, providing additional application logging to assist administrators with troubleshooting and debugging.

#### AUTOMATIC APPLY OF IIS SETTING ON INSTALL

IIS app pool settings are now automatically applied during the install process.

The following packages have been updated:

- fast-uri updated to v3.1.6
- browserlist updated to v4.28.7
- postcss-selector-parser updated to v6.1.3
- brace-expansion updated to v2.1.3
- svgo updated to v2.8.3
- shell-quote updated to v1.9.0
