OVERVIEW
This release of the FYB Link Generator includes all fixes and enhancements that were shipped in the previous releases of the product. For details of the previous release, please refer to the relevant release notes.
Links generated by v9.0.x and above are a full encrypted links . Legacy links (v8.3.x and below) are still supported by v9 and above and will continue to work, but any links generated are in the new format.
By default upon install, the new link format will be the default accepted link type. The API config will allow for enabling the support of legacy link types.
A .NET Core license must be used for the API v9.0x and above. You can request one by reaching out to membershub@fyb.com.au

SECURITY
.NET 10 UPGRADE
This application has been upgraded to .NET 10, providing improved performance, security, and reliability while keeping the application aligned with the latest Microsoft technology standards.
Action required: Administrators must ensure .NET 10 is installed on the application server as part of this upgrade.
BUG FIXES
ALLOW FOR DOWNLOAD OF LARGE FILE NAMES
Issue has been resolved in the Link Generator API where large filenames do not successfully download due to character limit. All files will now successfully download.
TRAILING WHITESPACE IN LINK
Issue has been resolved in Link Generator add-in no longer generate links with trailing whitespace
