# Link Generator Overview

The FYB Link Generator is a simple but effective add-in that enables users to generate a link to view, download and edit documents stored in OpenText's Content Manager.

The add-in utilises the Content Manager users' login details to access records and therefore all Content Manager security applies to generated links.
